1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using VICE Auctions ("the Platform"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use our services.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old and capable of entering into legally binding contracts to use our Platform. By using VICE Auctions, you represent and warrant that you meet these requirements.

3. Account Registration

• You must provide accurate, complete, and current information during registration
• You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials
• You are responsible for all activities that occur under your account
• You must notify us immediately of any unauthorized access

4. Buying and Bidding

4.1 Binding Bids

All bids placed on the Platform are binding offers to purchase. By placing a bid, you agree to complete the purchase if you are the winning bidder.

4.2 Payment

Winning bidders must complete payment within 48 hours unless otherwise specified. Failure to pay may result in account restrictions.

4.3 Buyer Responsibilities

• Review all listing details before bidding
• Ask questions before bidding if anything is unclear
• Complete payment promptly after winning
• Inspect items upon receipt and report issues within 14 days

5. Selling

5.1 Listing Requirements

• Provide accurate, complete descriptions of items
• Use clear, honest photographs
• Disclose all known defects or issues
• Set fair and honest starting prices

5.2 Seller Responsibilities

• Ship items within 3 business days of payment
• Provide valid tracking information
• Package items securely
• Respond to buyer inquiries promptly
• Honor all completed sales

5.3 Fees

Sellers agree to pay a 5% final value fee on all completed sales. There are no listing fees. Fees are deducted automatically from payouts.

6. Prohibited Items and Activities

The following are prohibited on VICE Auctions:

• Illegal items or items that violate applicable laws
• Counterfeit or unauthorized replicas
• Stolen property
• Weapons, explosives, or hazardous materials
• Adult content without proper age verification
• Shill bidding or bid manipulation
• Creating fake accounts
• Harassment or abuse of other users

7. VICE Protection

Our VICE Protection program covers eligible transactions up to $10,000. Protection applies when items don't arrive, are significantly different from described, or payment issues occur.

8. Dispute Resolution

We encourage users to resolve disputes directly. If that fails, you may open a case with our resolution center. Our decisions on disputes are final and binding.

9. Limitation of Liability

VICE Auctions is a marketplace platform. We are not responsible for the quality, safety, or legality of items listed, the truth or accuracy of listings, or the ability of sellers to sell or buyers to pay.

10. Account Termination

We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms, engage in fraudulent activity, or harm the Platform or other users. You may close your account at any time by contacting support.

11. Changes to Terms

We may modify these terms at any time. Continued use of the Platform after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
